10 NCMA key volunteers are being given the opportunity to attend a ‘round the table’ meeting with the DfE about the EYFS review. Myself and 1 other person have already applied for a place and been accepted – and hopefully other ncma key volunteers will be able to join us.

We would like to gather the views of the childminders who live in our areas – so East Midlands for the other person– and West Midlands for myself – but we will also take the views from other areas if no one is able to go to represent your views. If you have already completed the full consultation document – just send us a copy or if not do so now. Or take a look at the review document and lets us know your thoughts.

This is an example of how NCMA and their members represent the view of not only NCMA members but all registered childminders - to inform the government and help shape the future of childminding in this country.

PM me if you want me to ask a question or put a point of view to the DfE

Penny :)

I will also be joining Penny at this meeting next Saturday. As Penny said this a great example of how NCMA work on behalf of Childminders. I will be representing East region, but any one else is more than welcome to pass on their view to me (constructive of course :D ) and I will be happy to take it forward.
