Help - Newby joining

Hi, just joining your forum today and any advice would be gratefully received.

I am currently in the process of becoming a childminder and the last of my forms is being sent off today. How long will it be before Ofsted come out and do a review in my home? What sort of things should I be considering to change/improve before they come out?

How did you go about setting up your business?

Any other tips/help would be gratefully received as I am completely in the dark. Thank you for reading.

Ofsted should be with you in a few weeks... have you done your introduction to childminding course? That should cover things like business management and the paperwork you need in place.
