Pathways to Childminder Registration sessions

I am attending a pathways to childminding session next. Is there anything that I need to know or be prepared for, and do I have to pay for it? Im very new to this and its not very clear.

I'm in south glos here we have to attend a briefing meeting which tells you about the course and to make sure you know what lies ahead, then you have send a chegue £45 to pay for the 9wk course. I'm starting mine in Sep.
