I went on a briefing course 5 july about childminding and the next day posted my letter and cheque to say i'd like to start the course in Sep only i've not had anything back and the cheque hasn't been taken out yet. Just wondering is it worth ringing on Monday or should i wait a little longer.

Things get lost / mislaid / hidden under piles of paper / put in the wrong place / cancelled etc.

As Sarah said chase it. Post can go missing, Letters in big office get put under piles of paper etc etc.
They may just be like our LA and cash cheque and confirm the week before the course;) Which is why I always ring to make sure that I am booked on.
