..for a local Childminder who has been minding for over 25 years.

Most of the people there were past mindees. It was amazing how many past children were there.

The oldest child her dh could contact was there and gave an amazing speech - he's about 30 and the last remaining child aged 4 gave a speech too. I was really emotional, seeing how many children she'd cared for and how many lives she'd been a positive influence on.

Her dh and 5 dd's (aged 21-40) put on a fab spread and her dh gave a speech about the important role she'd playe, whilst he was working as a teacher.

It was very humbling and I feel glad that I have been one of two Childminders in our town with her!

We will hopefully have 5 childminders in town in Sept, and I'll be the old girl!

Have had a great day and it was a great advert for childminding!

I admit, I did get very tearful as the youngest and oldest child were making their speeches!

It really is an amazing achievement!
