House Insurance

Why do I have to notify the house insurance company, of a new business wont that be a problem when or if we sale the house????

I dont think its a problem if you want to sell, its a problem if your current insurance does not cover you running a business from home as if you need to claim it might be rejected if you havent told them. Mine is with Morton Michel this year, we used Churchill last year.

You have private house insurance at the moment so you need to notify your company. If you don't they won't pay out if there is a claim.

As Debbie said. It doen't cause a problem when you sell your house. Your arrangements for insurance are none of your purchasers business.
