Afternoon All,

Please can anyone help? I am a NCMA member but have decided to do my own contracts, I am aware NCMA will not cover me regarding any legal disputes. However is my public liability insurance still valid? I presumed the two were seperate? I have purchased my public liability insurance through NCMA so hoping all is ok...?

Many thanks, Sarah x

As far as I know it is.

But may I ask why invalidate the use of legal support you never know when you may need it? The contracts are not expensive if you think how much income they produce over a year.

I have all the NCMA contacts bought already in the toolkit so not a cost issue. I have managed to sort it out today :) only thing I won't be covered for is contract disputes (which I knew already). Thanks x

I always understood that if you used NCMA PPL you had to use their contracts as well, am I wrong?

If you want NCMA to represent you in a legal dispute over pay then you need to use their contracts. PL insurance is entirely separate.
