Some local childminders have told me u can claim for the above, is this true & if so what is the percentage?

You cannot claim for your TV License. If there is a package on Sky that you only have for CM you may be able to claim a % but I would check with the Tax Office, Mobile Phone and House Phone bills you claim the % you use of them for cm. You would need to keep any itemized bills and /or reciepts for top up if you are pay as you go. You can also claim a % of your internet/broardband if you use it for work.

I don't claim anything for the tv licence but do a percentage of the sky based on hours used by the cm children
Phone bills need to be itemised and business use highlighted and claimed
