Which course to take???

Hi this is my first post on here so hope its in the right area lol.I am an early years teacher of 6 years and am now going to become a childminder after having my own child.I have seen different courses available to become a childminder but unsure what route to take as i have alot of early years experience already. Any advice would be most grateful :)

You have to take an introduction to childminding course - they call them different things in different areas of the country - regardless of any prior experience you might have.

It's not focussed on children specifically but on how childminders run their businesses.

You need to contact your local childminding coordinator - you can usually find them via sure start centres - and find out what is available.
