How long to keep paperwork

Hey Ladies,

I am sorry I haven't been on in AGES! but have been busy working on my SQV-3

I need a little question answered.

How long are we meant to keep paperwork for, I mean things like contracts and incident/accident forms etc. Do we keep it for 21 years after the child leaves or is it up until the child's 21st birthday?

Also where official will I find this information? Just because I need to reference where I got the information.

i think it's 21 years and XXX months (but can't remember how many :blush: ) from when the child leaves your setting.

i would think you'd find some reference to that on the ofsted website

It says until the child is 21 in the Morton Michel policy booklet which you can access on their website :D
