I think she'd had quite alot of pain relief, thats why she is grinning.

The Doctor said it was one of the worst ankle breaks he had seen in a long while.
She went to Physio today, they taught her how to use her crutches. she's not allowed to put any weight on the ankle at all.
When she goes back to school, she may need a wheel chair.

She is going back to the hospital next week to have a different cast put on.
The Doctor said she wasn't allowed to go to school until the cast came off in 8 weeks time! (that would have taken her into the summer hols), But the physio said, she couldn't see why she couldn't go if she was in a wheel chair.

Oh dear, poor thing. Hope she doesn't feel too sore. Lots of treats required in these circumstances, to ease the discomfort!

she's still smiling though

sorry forgot who put last post but defo dont put knitting needle down there, it can break the skin and get infected, only know this cos when my son broke his leg he was sticking a ruler done there and anything else he could and the nurse specialist so defo dont do that infection can be very bad ;)
