My front garden would need a double gate and a small fence/gate at the side to fully enclose the garden and make it safe can i claim it on expense as i wouldnt be doing it otherwise as i rent.
I'd say yes, but you can always check with hmrc.

Is this the only garden you have, is there none at the back? If there is a safe back garden then no, if not then prob yes as long as you have your Landlords permission and there is nothing in his deeds that prevents fencing in a front garden. We lived in a house once where we were not allowed to fence in the front garden they all had to be open.

Hi yes i have a small enclosed back garden but the front garden would be good for riding bikes and things like that as i have decking and stones down in the back garden.
