What ages

Hi im sure i read somewhere that once a child starts full time school under ofsted rules they would then be classed as 5 but my son starts full time nursery in a school setting in september but he will only be 3 does this only apply if they are in full time reception class or the age of 4

Hiya I think they have to be in reception class. I had a 4yr old in ft nursery but as it wasn't reception he counted in my under 5's x

Ok thanks for replying i thought that may have been the case as he still seemed so young to be classed as 5
