Hi guys,

I've not been minding long and my mindee didn't attend today because he is poorly. Do I need to record it anywhere?

I always note things like this in the attendance register (as well as C/M Hols and Parent Hols) so that when I do my invoices (as I do mine in arrears) I know what has happened. It also helps jog my memory when I look back through a daily diary and there appears to be a break in care.

I record it in my diary but not in my attendance register but, like the OP, that's because it jogs my memory when I'm doing my tax return!
