Hi, My friend had her daughter yesterday. I'm trying to think of a gift. I can't afford much as I have got her son a pressie and if all being fine i've promised her a box of chocs as she was diabetic while pregnant.
I was wondering about maybe a silver charm, something that could be kept for years but i'm not sure. I love my own charm braclet and another friend said she is doing one foe her daughter to give her when she is 18 which I thought was lovely.
Any ideas? whats your thoughts on a charm and if so what?
Thank Lou x

A friend of mine does all kinds of gifts for babies and everyone, her site is kraftkreations.com - I think  and I've had a lovely big box for all her things, birth cert etc made in pink for my mindees baby sister and an initial for the 2 other mindees who have birthdays. They're really nice and they are cheap. :clapping:

When my friend had her baby I bought her things like muslin cloths and a little jacket for when the baby is 6 - 9 months as everyone tends to buy newborn stuff.

One of the best gifts I got was that caffeine infused under eye roll on stuff LOL

If you were going to go for a charm, maybe one in the shape of a pram or a dummy. Then in the future you could add 'age appropriate' charms if you wanted to.

You could always name a star (http://www.starregistry.co.uk/) for them.

Alternatively, when my youngest cousin was born, we bought them a rose that had the same name (http://www.everyrose.com/everyrose/sitemap.lasso).
