I am sooo glad its the weekend, I have started at 7am every day this week and my dd(4) has been a s*d!

We have the youth group, and staff from our old church in Manchester coming over for the weekend.
They are staying at a youth hostel and dh has arranged a 9mile walk with challenges for tomorrow to tire them out!!

Then they are coming to our church on Sunday followed by a bbq! - praying for great weather.
It never rains here at all, and whats it just started doing? - raining. Fingers crossed!

Hope you all have a great weekend,
Rachel x

my weekend has started...

im sat in bed doing learning journeys

tomorrow i shall be making some new bright hoods & liners for my Phil & teds pram....while barking at my kids to stay away from the sewing machine & pins & stop running off with my fabric :panic:

Sunday i shall probably be going to melton mowbray carboot, then the reef tank water change then go to the other side of the midlands for my daughters baby milk (special allergy stuff that i have to buy on ebay due to it being £16 for a small tin)

chuck in a load of dog walking, housework, cooking

we are such a busy lot us childminders, even when we are off we end up doing something related to our jobs, I know I will probably end up doing something in the garden for the little ones, maybe put up some mirrors we brought not so long ago and the blackboards need re painting.

Oh well it is all worth it I guess

I am NOT doing any paperwork or nvq this weekend despite being so far behind :(

I've decided its time I spent a weekend with my family for once, especially when my ds 5yrs said he wishes it was christmas so we can sit together and play games/do jigsaws/watch films and be together as a family :( that just made me want to cry :ohdear:
