Child protection policy - not sure who I refer to (I come under CSSIW in Wales)

Hi Everyone,

I am updating my child protection policy (I live in South Wales so come under CSSIW) and am not sure what or who to put down when it comes to a referral. At the moment my policy says:

The national minimum standards for registered childminders require me to let the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales know of any concerns that I have reported without delay.

But my NVQ mentor was saying I put down that I contact the Referral and Assessment Team, would this still be CSSIW ?

Referrals should be made to the Local Safeguarding Chidlren Board.
