hubby is a hgv driver for focus diy.

well he came home from work yesterday, had a phone call bout a hr later to say all driver are on standby!!!

they have gone into administration:eek:

hes only been there around 5 months, so no redundancy money
dont know how we'll manage :panic:

oh heck!

it is something i worry about with my OH. He is a Class 1 hgv driver (massive artics....wet my pants when i see him driving it) and he works for a small company which prints the packaging and info leaflets for medicines, both bog standard stuff like paracetamol and more hospital stuff.

i worry he will just come home one day and say its all gone boobs up.

we have a contingency plan

1, he gets on the agencies (he has 5 years exp so will be popular)
2, he becomes my assistant

Oh :( Get him ringing round the agencies they usually have work for better pay. It might be worse hours but at least he'll be working.

Yes I found out the hard way too!!...I just ordered a kitchen, paid deposit and waiting on delivery next week!!! :panic::panic::panic:

I paid deposit in cash:panic: but thats all £187 but better than paying for the whole amount...so now I have to write off to administrators now for refund.

Hope your hubby finds alternative.
