I was wondering if anyone could help a friend of mine wants to become a childminder and she was asking if she needs a medical, I was'nt sure??? She has MS but she feels fine and able to do it.

To become a childminder Ofsted send you a health declaration form which you get your dr to fill in. It's not an actual medical and won't costs nearly as much. As long as her doctor thinks she's ok to do it then he'll put that. x

In some cases certain conditions / medication info that comes through from the doc means Ofsted ask the person to go to their special doctors who make the final decision.
I would imagine MS will come within that remit - your friend should give Ofsted a call and check.
I wouldn't advise her to spend any money or do anything like courses until she has the ok about her medical condition.
