The Safer Food Better business for childminders pack says that we must check temperatures and record if something goes wrong.
Some childminders like to record the temperatures... others tick a dated chart if the temp is within normal range.

Fridge - food must be kept between 0oC and +5oC
Freezer - food should be kept below -18oC
