I run a local link of the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline, and we bring a group of children to the UK every summer for 4 weeks respite.

The people in Russia and the Ukraine are still suffering from the affects of the Chernobyl disaster and the 4 weeks spent here in the uk eating healthy food and drinking uncontaminated water will add at least 4 years on to their life expectancy
