Expenses!!

Hi all
Wonder if you can help, As i'm not yet registered but gettng ready setting my business, if i buy anything for childminding now can i still claim as expenses once i start minding? Want to get some bits each week really so dont have to fork out all at once. Fingers crosses i should be registered by the latest June. Also i have brought a laptop today which will just be used for childminding business can i claim a % as expenses??

Just make a list of your spends and when you start earning you will put that against them until you are in profit.

As far as the laptop goes, the rules have just changed... there was a thread about it the other day...

I would suggest you contact the tax office for their confirmation...
