HELP !When do I need to notify Ofsted?

A new mindee has just started but his settling in period is 4 weeks (during which either party can terminate at any time) Do I notify Ofsted NOW before the settling-in period is over (I am due an inspection soon as well) OR do I wait until the settling-in period is over and I know for sure that he is actually staying? He is my only mindee at present.Just unsure what to do,I am sure it'd be better if they came to inspect me when the lil boy has settled in to a routine,he's only been with me for a few days.Many Thanks x

I'd give it a few weeks while he's settling in.

just wondering why you need to contact Ofsted it say on your profile you have been registered since 05 ! Have I missed something?

I was due an inspection when I had not been minding for a few months so was told to contact them when I'd filled my vacancy ie;started minding again,hope that answers your query.

Thank you:) Am so nervous as it's been 4 years plus since my last inspection,gulp!The EYFS was not around then so now theres so much more to think of,isn't there?:panic:
