View Full Version : Review Date on Policies

Can anyone help me with how long a review date I can leave on my first time policies - had six months but as I wrote them in November 2010 and only start work now i would be reviewing them all in April/May as I have enough paperwork with the EYFS and Journals etc do you think Ofsted will be ok with me having a date of November 2011 and updating the onces that need amendments as I go along!! hope this makes sense - thank you

i have put a yearly date on mine and will change earlier if needed

I do mine annually and when things change.
Make a list of everything that needs annually updating - contracts & permissions, Policies and procedures, risk assessments, menus twice a year, accounts in April etc.
Make a year chart and put them into different months so you are not overwhelmed.
