As the title states;

What are your clothing essentials, the things that you cannot live without (apart from under wear and outerwear)

and

the items that you wouldnt wear if your life depended on it...

------------------------------------------------------

My must haves are;
Jeans
Leggings
Blazer
cardi's
Vest tops
Converse trainers/birkenstocks/wrangler boots/heels

My wouldnt touch with a barge pole's are;
crocs
capri combats (3 quarter length)
baggy floral tunics


*NB - hope i dont upset anyone over my "hates" :cool:

Clothes I couldn't do without:

jeans
boots (have about 15 pairs)
Birkenstocks (a dozen pairs)
tunic tops (plain or floral ;) )
belts (so tunics don't look like maternity tops :blush: )
cardis


Clothes I can happily live without:

Crocs (no disputing that)
crop tops
shoes (only have 2 pairs I keep for christenings, weddings & funerals)
skirts (I have 2, as for shoes)
shorts
t-shirts

sweets

must haves -
knickers,bras,socks :laughing:
warm pj's
jeans, t-shirts, warm jumpers
boots, trainers
few nice tops for going out.

could happily live without -
dresses and skirts (i dont actually have any):blush:
high heels (dont have any of those either) :laughing:

my croc mary janes that I wear as slippers in the house (have pains in the soles of my feet and these help!)

my shu hoodie
my pandora bracelet (oh you said clothing lol)

hate

anything that doesnt fit me, so thats everything in top shop, miss selfridge, river island, designer, boutiques
uggs (why sooo expensive and not even waterproof!)

loves at the moment
My Gap jeans as they are a size smaller then usual and they fit now i have lost some weight
any thing form Fat face but especially their long tops that i wear as a dress with nice tights/leggings
my Primark biker boots that only cost £20 but look like they were 5 x that
Red coat that i bought in the M and S outlet near me that was reduced from £120 to £55 and looks and feels fab
And most importantly my North Face puffer that kept me so warm during the worst of the winter


and although I hate them really they are a must as I have a very bad foot and can't walk for long without them my trainers

They are on my hate list too
I have no clothes that I hate and their is nothing i wouldn't and don't wear, I love skirts and dresses and wear them every weekend as i live in jeans although the last couple of weeks i have ended the week in a dress and boots i save the heels for non work days and when i am not walking far


Joy look up Plantar Fasciitis as your foot problem sounds like mine and if it is the same get referred to a chiropodist

my very thick warm coat
my comfy big pants ( sorry but no piece of cheese wire is coming near my butt :D )

walking boots
crocs. I do use them as slippers so I guess thats ok :laughing:

I can happill live without most stuff as I am a scruff, I never go anywhere posh and mosy days only leave the farm to go to the bust stop.

I hate tight, too girly all frilly and froo froo, animal prints, crop tops, and too short skirts ..

I am defo getting old :blush:

and this afternoon I couldn't have lived without my massive thick skiing coat and thermals as I spent it standing in the mud on a school field in the pouring rain. Don't ask.:rolleyes:

anything that could be classed as "hippy" or boho
3/4 length trousers/jeans cos i'm only 5 feet tall and i think they make me look less short!
bright colours or mulit colour
stripey or patterned knee high socks - often worn with 3/4 jeans and boots
boots of any description
Rocket dog boots and sneakers
leggings and tunic tops
Shorts with leggings/thick tights
Hats

Hate:

Plain colours
Ordinary round neck t-shirts
polo necks (make me feel claustrophobic)
thongs
Knee length skirts
anything that my older sister ( very mumsy and boring) wears!
Ugg boots when they slouch over on the inside and make people shuffle when they walk
high waisted anything

Sure theres more hates - i'll be back!

anything black

doc martins
"hippy" style dresses worn over jeans
cotton clothes
nehru collars
bike leathers (on phil...he is very tall and slim and dressed all in his black tight leathers.....oh dear...having the vapours now)

hate
anything else especially anything trendy and skirt/flesh showing based. I also hate bright colours. anything with a slogan or label on.
Anything made of manmade fibres.
Any body trying to be a goth...buying goth clothes from shops! i am a goth...have been for 30 years and i have NEVER bought an "outfit" from a goth shop.

blundstone australian cowboy boots
reef sandals

and

my crocs! i love them! i use them as slippers, garden shoes, and when its raining! ( oh and wore my red ones today for comic relief! only red item i own! :D i have 'several' pairs! )

must not haves!

polo necks
polo shirts
round neck tops
high heels ( heels of any kind really! )
leggings
blue denim anything
anything in pretty much any colour not listed above!

I have AJS and its only mild... I had it really bad for a few days and couldnt figure out why, thought I had pulled it and tried to rest it but carried on walking around bare foot, I googled, came up with the info and now try really hard not to walk bear foot around the house, hence the crocs :rolleyes: as they are comfy and I can wash them clean :laughing:

pain has gone... only get it in my right foot, but I do so miss walking around the house barefoot :( thats what happens when you have a house that is laminated
