View Full Version : Occasional care - contracts?

I am just starting up at the moment and have a couple of part timers hopefully signing contracts. I don't want to fill myself to capacity from the start so will have space available on certain days of the week. I have two friends who need occasional care - so probably just an afternoon or day every couple of weeks. Do I need to sign contracts with them, if I don't have definite days and times agreed with them? Is there some kind of ad hoc contract you can do? Does the NCMA short term contract cover this kind of circumstance? Any advice welcomed.

Short term contracts are for 30 days or less.

I would go with a normal contract (yes you need one if you are minding for over 2 hours)... and just put days and times to be advised.

hth :D
