how long does it take for your insurance and paperwork to go through?

and do you have to be fully registered before you can order it?

As soon as I phoned NCMA I was insuranced, my certificate etc came through 5 working days after I phoned.

Yes you need to be fully registered before phoning as they will beed your EY registration number which you will find on your Ofsted reg certificate.

thank you, im just worried as i have a mindee lined up for beg of april so hoping to be reg in time

Hi,
If I remember correctly, when I rang for mine, I was given an option to backdate it... Why not give them a call and see what the procedure is? Chances are, you should be able to call when you get your certificate and it will be valid from the same day.
Remember though, it will need renewing a year later, so I'd just do it from the date you start minding :thumbsup:

yes i dont want to "waste" days of the policy if im not minding.

it was mainly to get the contracts etc
