Im about to become accredited so that I can claim the early years child place for one of my mindees so she stays with me rather than her having to go to a nursery.
The criteria for the accreditation is that I am working towards the NVQ 3, however I cannot afford to pay for this course myself and theyve told me that the funding may be being withdrawn.
I will find out for sure in the next 2-4wks.
Im worried to death now - It doesnt seem fair. Without the NVQ3 childminders wont be able to become accredited (unless they pay & the course is expensive).
Oh no, what am I going to do. Im not very good at sitting waiting! :(
