hi would anybody bable to give me some advice regarding observations please to see if doing it right,thanx.When i write my observation i have my activity heading ,date and what i observed and then the eyfs theme and that area which i think the child has achieved doin that activity and i also write the next steps and apic of what weve done,does this sound ok,sorry if sounds long winded,thanx:)

I do some of my observations like that, but I also do brief notes on a regular basis and take photos with simple obs attached. This combination along with comments from both parents and child plus examples of the child's work form the contents of the child's learning journey. At the start of term I make a plan for each child (which is just a starting point as children's interests change) at the end of term I sum up what each child has acheived
