Hi guys,
I need to buy a new external hard drive to back all my files up... but there are sooooooooo many out there!
Does anyone have any good recommendations (or ones to avoid!) - i need a simple plug in, copy paste and go, kind of job! Nothing too technical :D
Thanks in advance :) xx

I have a Toshiba one - I think any with a good / well known company name are fine.

I also use www.dropbox.com to copy and paste my files for extra security.

Hth :D

Drop box looks interesting! Is it like a secure portal?! Always worried about saving things over internet! x

I got this one a few weeks ago...i'm not very techy but I literally plugged it in and copied my stuff dead easy...and it has a large memory as well

I use Ebuyer for any computer related things. They generally have some good deals on. They have some slightly unfamiliar names on there (as well as familiar) but i think most things are alright. Check reviews.

Yes I think so, I just copy and paste my documents into it so they are still on my computer.

It means I can access them anywhere with an internet connection as well so I don't need to carry a dongle around. :D
