....so we're taking George to the Science Museum!! :clapping: :clapping: Very excited, hope its not a total wash out for him but I know is all very hands on and he is very interested in how the world works.
Booked 2 train tickets just now - 1hr away and its costs.....£61 :panic: so i hope its worth it!

Sure he will love it :) My DS went on a school trip there

£61  there must be cheaper tickets to be had for another time. I am over 1hr by train from London, buying in advance online from Southern it is £12(?)for 2 people, £24 for group of up to 4 people return - some timing exclusions mind but worth the difference in price.

i took my niece there a couple of years ago, it was good but we struggled to stay in there for more than an hour or so! went next door to the natural history and that was brill!

try and do both in the day.

train tickets are expensive if you get them near to the day but are much cheaper if you get them a couple of weeks in advance.
