renewal due but will possibly stop minding - refund?

my insurance is due soon but i possibly stop minding next month. can i just renew for a month? will i get refund if i pay for the whole year? (like a car insurance) i am with ncma.

It does say that no refunds are given on insurance products but you have a 21 day right to cancel your insurance.
