Nervous, First Family coming

Hi

I am a little nervous as i have my first set of parents and there 12 month old coming on Monday, i have had a complete memory block as to what i need to show them, i have my Ofsted cert, my first aid cert and my insurance and NCMA Pack.

I am not sure if i should charge by the hour or day ( am in Rutland ) if this help, i have a folder for my policys etc but not sure what policies i need etc..

Think i maybe panicking just a little.

Try not too worry too much about blinding them with the paperwork side of things, they will probably just want to have a chat with you and see how you get on with them and their lo.

If you know any other childminders in your area you could find out what the going rate is and whether daily or hourly charge is the most usual. Try and get this sorted before you meet these parents as that is something they will want to know.

Just relax and be yourself.
