Morning and Happy New Year to everyone. :clapping:

I am due an inspection any day and I still haven't finished my SEF. So I'm being really sad sitting here in my PJ's along with Sarah's ebook trying to get it done.

I'm just unclear as to whether I refer to individual children when I am trying to give examples of what we do. Is it OK to refer to them by their intial and their age or do I just state generally what we do in the setting? I hope that makes sense!?

Could anyone let me know how they refer to the mindees in their SEF.

Many thanks

Probably safer and easier just to go with 'I have a child in my setting who...'
That way it's not reliant on the individual inspectors feelings on the subject.

I haven't referred to any individual children except in the question that asks for their feedback.

I just talk about how I meet the children's needs :D

Thanks for both your replies.

I thought that might the case but just wanted to check before I got all the way through it and then realise I'd done it wrong! I have just been using the phrase that singingcactus mentioned so I will continue to do that.

Thanks again.
