When do you do yours ?

Have you already done it ?

Do you do it New years day ?

Or do you wait 12 days after Christmas ?

I wanted to take them down yesterday, but DH said it was too early!
I'm going to take the playroom stuff down this afternoon (tree, decorations, christmas display) so I can start to think about what the next display will be.

The rest of the decorations will come down on New Years day

Everything comes down on New Years Day ( tree and decs that is  )

Then its a right good clean up and a sparkling tidy house, the lounge suddenly looks very big and spacious !

Then you look around and think ... ohhh this room could do with decorating!!!!:D

I start to take mine down from New Years day onwards, usually the cards go first, then the chains, then the tinsle and finally the tree on the 6th of Jan. I once took the whole lot down on the 6th of Jan and it looked so bare, it was horrible so i do it gradually. :)

Hope you had a good Christmas and a good 2011 to come.

Ours are coming down at the weekend. We've had such a rubbish Christmas because of the flu bug in our house (i seem to have escaped it- fingers crossed) that i can not wait to get the house clean and aired! But I must remember to get a few photos of the decorations before i strip it all away.

Decs all down today (except tree outside) :clapping: All stashed back in loft, just got to get hoover out now, except dh and ds3 are slobbing in front of tv so may have to wait till they go out later!!!

Need to get motivated to have massive tidy up before I have to get cm stuff back out of shed ready for work on Tuesday :( especially as I have now been told our school is closed Tues (not sure about rest of week yet) due to burst pipe, so my 1 mindee all day and 4 after school, could now turn into 5 all day
