Couple of questions please!!!

Hello everyone

I'm due to start the paediatric first aid saturday and i'm booked for my IHP course in january...

my questions are: do i wait to send paperwork? i've got my medical certificate and filled in the registration, but i haven't send anything yet. a bit confused!!

would anyone take me step by step on when to do it?

Give Ofsted a ring on 08456 40 40 40 and ask them as it changes all the time.

It might also depend on your local authority.

Some make you do the whole introduction to childminding course then they give you the Ofsted pack and you do the CRB, medical check etc.

Very often these things cannot be rushed I'm afraid.

However agree with Sarah - best call LA first as they usually do all the first stage stuff - such as briefing (information) sessions, giving out the packs and so on. Hopefully a development officer will be able to give you the right advice for your area.
