hi i am minding a 3 year old boy, i used to have him full time but now only have him for 2.5 hours and he is at nursery for 3. do i still do observations and planning. i still do activities with him that follow the eyfs but do i need to log like i did.

Hiya yes we still have to do EYFS also liasing with nursery, which I'm not having any luck with at the moment :mad:
Obviously you won't do as much as mindee will be at nursery some of the time too x

It can be very hard to liaise with other settings especially if they are not keen on talking to you.
I find it helpful to look at displays on the walls, ask the child what he has done, check through his learning journey booklet etc.
I am also on the email list for newsletters and I use bits from that to comment on what he is doing at the other setting.
If you can't show evidence of sharing... show evidence of trying! :D
