I know the information i keep on each child has to be kept confidential and locked away. I can't think of anywhere in my house i can lock it away...
How/where do you keep this info? Also what info actually needs to be locked away?

I don't actually have mine under lock and key.

I do have shelves etc where all my files are kept and these are in my bedroom (or should I say office:rolleyes:  )

As nobody else apart from my inner family have access to my bedroom I deem this information to be safe.

I explained to my inspector (January this year) that this information is of no interest to my family and would not expect them to go looking through it all.....she was more than happy with my arrangements.

If you are really worried you could always buy a box file with a lock and store sensitive infor in there and maybe store in bottom of your wardrobe or something like that.

I use a filing cabinet in my wardrobe. You can also put a padlock on the NCMA toolkit box if you had one of those and put it out of the way

I also have a lockable metal box from WH Smith. The only thing that I keep out is phone numbers, doctors details/allergies (in a book I take with me everywhere, just in case something happens) and their diaries. I store my filing cabinet in my cloakroom. Its so dark and full of clothes and shoes...you cant even find a pair of boots most of the times, let alone my filing box! Heh!! :)
