Ths is worth a try, my children loved it last year and they have asked to do it again this year - although probably better done when the snow has stopped fallig. we fill up squeezy bottles with watered down paint and they squirt away on top of the snow creating large colourful works of art.

We do this too - I use food colouring instead of paint - disappears faster!

Love this idea too!!! Hope we get some snow now cos this one will be vwery popular with my mindees! Defo using food colouring rather than paint though, just in case the cats decide to try and eat it (mine are a bit crazy so quite likely!!!)

I'm such a terrible childminder, I hate seeing lovely fresh snow distrubed by foot prints nevermind splattered with paint/food colouring  I really must try harder

My children loved this idea. On the theme of snow... they also liked having shaving foam and clapping their hands together to see the foam spray like snow!
