Thundersnow!!!

Is what we have right now never seen anything like it but OMG soooooooo loud

It means we're in for more heavy snowfall!

It was ridiculously loud and very bright. Havent heard any more for a while though.

We had it about 9pm and was very scary. Its snowed ever since and hasnt stoppped. I rekon we must have about 14-15 inches now of the blooming stuff

No snow here in my bit of Worcestershire. Hope those of you with snow manage to have a good day and can enjoy the snow without the difficulties it brings trying to get out and about.

Debating whether walking or driving up the hill to school is the more sensible!!

i didnt know what it was, but it's so different to regular thunder, it's VERY loud, one of my friends thought a plane had crashed!!!!!!

We had it too - I shot to the window because I thought there had been a pile up outside. It was awesome. The lightening was so 'white' really really bright and then we had an almighty blizzard for an hour - you couldn't tell where the rooftops ended and the sky began.

I heard on the news that it some areas it was thundering, snowing & hailing all at the same time.

Much as I hate thunder, I'd loved to have seen it.

Would love to see Thundersnow again. Saw it as a child in Switzerland and it was amazing :eek:

Thye were talking about thundersnow on Jeremy Vines lunchtime programme on radio 2. It's really rare! you lucky peeps.

We've only had a flutter of snow, just enough to make things sparkle but not enough to do anything else with. Not even enough to gather into a tray :(
