As most of you know my DD like many others took their A levels back in the summer and have gone off to various universities around the country.

My DD got a letter last week from the college she attended and has been awarded a Trustees Curriculum 2000 prize in recognition of her distinguished performance in the A level examinations.
She will be recieving a cheque for £100:clapping:

To get the prize she needed to get 1180 UCAS points and 3 A's, she got over the 1180 UCAS points and 3 A*s

She replied back to say she can attend and they wanted to know a bit about what she is doing now etc:)

Well today my DH & I recieved an invitation to attend the prize giving including a buffet lunch afterwards.

I Usually work Wednesdays but told my parents that I will be attending and am taking the day off:)

I know this is a really pointless post but I am so so proud of my DD and miss her so much and am counting the days until she comes home for christmas

thats a lovely post well done to your daughter.

I am hoping all my children will turn out to be incredibly dim so they cant go away to University because I will miss them too much:laughing:

However I shouldnt worry too much because my eldest has allready told me he is going to live with me forever and ever and one of my other sons today told his teacher that His mum is the ruler of the whole world.
