Bah Humbug!!!!

My DS (nearly 9) started asking questions after last Christmas about the big red man, and basically I 'lied' my way out of it.

Well this morning he started asking questions again, and so after a lot of thought, tonight I told him the truth. I have asked him to keep the secret for his little sis and the mindees.

He took it really well and promised to keep the excitement up, but I am feeling a little sad now, my little boy is not so little anymore.

Used to love all his questions and promised never to lie to him, and I haven't, he asked I told:(

Bless him - he's growing up :)

It happens to them all sooner or later - mine are teens and we still have stockings, just don't wait for them to be asleep to put them out and often in bed and asleep before kids :laughing:

Awww my 9yr old DS I think has come to this point too and really wanted a yr where he and DD 2.5yrs got all excted together as its the first yr she understands.

Its sad :(
