I've search the forum and can't seem to find the instructions of how to make the 3D snowflake, the children loved doing them last year and for the life of me I can't remember how to do it.

Does anyone have the instructions please.

Found it

Those that have made these before - do you just use A4 paper and cut it down to make it square, or do you get square paper - and if so where from - please!!!!!!!!! :D

Like the idea of the sparkly paper, is it easy to get hold of? - have seen card, but would have thought that wouldn't work very well - too difficult to curl round!!

Thank you so much for posting these

I made one myself as a trial run before the school run, then had 2 5 yr olds making one - which they did really easily with minimal assistance. Then one 5 yr old made another and then his sister made one too.

So I have 2 lovely big ones hanging from my ceiling and 2 went home with the kids - they are awesome and super effective. I used paper that was coloured on one side and white on the other - it makes them look AMAZING!!! one it hot pink and white, the other bright green and white!!

I dont have a stapler :O was thnking maybe card and hole punch one of tops and tie with ribbon into a circle then glue side edges.. anyone made one that thinks that would work?

Also think that less lines would do anything like three lines to cut.. think ill experiment!

Just had a go at this with my dd(6). We made a white one. I thought they were easier than expected but she still said she had enough after making 1 and is a craft-aholic usually! Oh well, looks nice hanging in the window. Thanks for sharing the link. :)
