I think it would be nice if anyone is on line tomorrow at 11 am that we observe a minutes 'silence' and have no posts during that minute, instead have a minute of quiet reflection.

I think no matter what anyone's views are on war or fighting we cannot get away from the fact that many people have made the ultimate sacrifice and deserve our respect for that.

i will be at toddler group in the morn, wonder if they will do a minutes silence there? may be a bit difficult! ;)

I always think that even if you can't be totally quiet at least if you are having a few thoughts in the right direction then that is better than nothing. :)

Too late now but I would have thought 11 am as that is the official end of World War I on that date in 1918: "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month"

Our children did so very proud of them seeing as the oldest was 2. We sang some songs and then did the silence and they all did so well :thumbsup:
