We used to have jacket potaotes and beef soup on bonfire night :thumbsup:

It's a lancashire thing spud pie. It's potatoes and either corned beef or steak chunks with a gravy all cooked together in a big pan like a stew without the vegetables in it served with pickled red cabbage!!
