I got a call from my daughters school at lunchtime to say she had twisted her leg in PE and is still hobbling around an hour later, so could I go and pick her up as she was very uncomfortable. :(

I get her home and take a look at her leg and find her knee is in a funny position.

So off we go to A&E, to find out she had dislocated her knee  . They managed to get it back in, she's only 7 and hardly made any fuss, she was very brave.

Thanks, she's fine now.
She has been sat on the sofa watching cebeebies and sucking a chupa chup lolly :D

I was a bit cross with school, the First Aider said it was just a pulled muscle but you could see the knee was about 2 inches to the right of where it should be!

She just needs to take it easy for the next few days and to take Calpol as it is still a bit sore, bless her.

The A&E nurse said she was the bravest patient they'd had in all day :D
I was the one in tears, I keep hearing the click in my mind when it went back in and it makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck each time. I'm such a wimp :D

Oh bless her, my knees lock and that is painful enough to bring tears to my eyes.

She must be ever so brave.

Big hugs to her and a detention to the first aider.
