Have any childminders in Hertfordshire collected their buggy buddies pack?

I collected mine on Friday and it is full of really good resources.

Six cuddly bugs, all with their own names and characters, loads of ideas for activites, little bags for the mindees to take the bugs out and home - to encourage working with parents, a high chart, etc

Ask ur CDO or local childrens' centre, I collected mine from the childrens centre - just had to complete a travel audit.

Yes got mine last week and we had a training on how to use the packs. Excellent resource, just alittle worried about sending the creatures home - may never see them again :(

Where in Herts are you??

Yes they are lovely, but am i the only one that thinks the whole thing is a bit idealistic and that there are other things more in need of the money spent on them.

Have to be honest as much as I think they are lovely, it is quite obvious that this is where some of our capital grant fund has gone and I too could have thought of other ways in which the money could be spent, but hay ho!
I to do the ECAT training and got some fab goodies from that :clapping:

i too would have much prefered the capital funding grant which apparently went into our ss centre which treats cm's like second class citizens!

ooo just round the corner from me, I know a few cm's in Borehamwood, I wonder if I know you :D The Herts forum meetings have been discussing CC's and would welcome any feedback. Both BT and I are forum reps, but as I'm probably nearer to you please feel free to pm me(when you have the time and the inclination :) ) and I could feed back at next meeting as someone from YiH (very nice lady who deals with CC's)will be their to listen to our coments.
