Pre-registration course - PR-139 is this the same as DHC1?

Hi all,

I went to a briefing session back in February to start childminding - the 2 hour briefing and was told then I needed to do the DHC1 before registering here. I then had my daughter in March and am now starting my training. Anyway I rang to book on a DHC1 but just received paperwork and am on a course called PR-139 Pre-registration course. Is this just another name for the DHC1? After this I can register? I don't need to do another course as well?

The course has changed but it depends on where you live as to what it's called and how it is run.

I suggest you contact your local people for more information :D
