Can anyone recommend.....???

Hia all....I wondered if anyone could recommend any regular magazines that I could subscribe to or buy weekly/monthly. If possible even free!! Id like to keep up to date on things that are happening and think a magazine may be a good way (as well as this fabulous site of course!!) xxx

There are quite a few good ones about. There is nursery world, nursey education, 5-7 years education. There is one called Professional Childcare which is specifically aimed at childminders and nannies. I've worked as a nanny and in a nursery and i have found this useful.

Are you a member of the NCMA. They send out a magazine called "Who Minds?" four times a year. It is included in your yearly membership fee and is very interesting, keeps you up to date with all that is going on.

i get childcare - £14.40 every quarter (which goes in my expenses - when i remember!! :D ) brilliant mag - has handy pull out bits for eyfs ideas and it links it in with areas of learning etc etc etc :clapping:

I get childcare mag. Really enjoy reading and often has some good ideas and reviews.

I agree Childcare is fab and I quite enjoyed reading my 1st copy of Who Minds!

I have borrowed some Nursery World magazines, but I find they are really aimed at nurseries rather than HBC!
