unemployed!!!!

i may be losing a family if daddy doesnt get new contract. I am a widow living alone, if this happens can i claim job seekers allowance or any other benefit? Am so so shocked and just hope it doesnt happen! Maybe being self employed is too risky when single.

To claim JSA you have to be of working age and working less than 16 hours a week. Go to direct gov website and it gives you details of eligibility. xx
